Dominican Republic

Dominican Republic is the second largest and most diverse Caribbean country, situated just two hours south of Miami.

Surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean on the north and the Caribbean Sea on the south, this lush tropical island paradise boasts 250 miles of the world’s top beaches. Despite its reputation for great beach holidays, there is much more to this Caribbean island than that.

The Dominican Republic is blessed with the Caribbean’s highest mountain ranges, tucked in the heart of the country, where you’ll find the lushest landscapes and coolest temperatures. With 18 national parks, around a quarter of the country is protected.

Encounter Humpback Whales in their Sanctuary in Samaná Bay from January to March. The Bay of Samana is considered one of the world’s best viewing spots for the species.

Renowned for having the most magnificent golf courses in the Caribbean region, and Latin America, the Dominican Republic is the undisputed leader of golf in the tropics.
